"Though imperfect, this compromise funding bill to fund the remainder of this fiscal year comes at a welcome time. Congress can now send a signal of stability and security to the American people. With this agreement, we will finally and fully fund federal agencies for the remainder of the year and avert another manufactured funding crisis.

"The recent move by Anthem to leave the health care exchange could cause real harm to the people of Ohio. Congress should be working together to build on the Affordable Care Act and address issues, but sadly President Trump and Republicans in Congress are intent on pushing their harmful bill that doesn't fix the issues Americans are facing every day. Ohio isn't the only state experiencing challenges, so we should we work in a bipartisan way to make sure all Americans can get quality, affordable insurance.
