Co-Chairs Kaptur, Smith, Keating, Turner Reestablish Congressional Poland Caucus for 119th Congress

January 31, 2025

Washington, DC – Today, Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the Congressional Poland Caucus Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH-09), and Co-Chairs Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ-04), Congressman Bill Keating (D-MA-09), and Congressman Mike Turner (R-OH-10) announced that they will reestablish the bipartisan Congressional Poland Caucus for the 119th Congress.

“We are excited to reestablish the bipartisan Congressional Poland Caucus for the 119th Congress. Since the time of the American Revolutionary War, and Polish Generals Thaddeus Kościuszko and Casimir Pulaski, Poland and the United States have shared a deep friendship, rooted in values of democracy and liberty. In recognition of that shared history, the Poland Caucus continues to be the primary source of bipartisan efforts within the United States House of Representatives for Members to bolster American-Poland bilateral relations and recognize and promote the deep cultural legacies of the millions of Polish Americans living across our nation. As we begin the 119th Congress, the work of the Poland Caucus remains critical to ensuring that Poland and the United States can further their shared economic and security interests while facilitating the robust exchange of people and histories between our nations," said the Co-Chairs of the Congressional Poland Caucus.
