Congressional Ukraine Caucus Urges Unanimous Support for Lend-Lease Act

Washington, D.C. – Today, the Co-Chairs of the bipartisan Congressional Ukraine Caucus – Representatives Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Mike Quigley (D-IL), and Andy Harris (R-MD) – released the following statement calling for unanimous support for the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act in the House this week.

“Rarely has the world confronted such unspeakable evil. Putin’s violent rampage against Ukraine represents the largest threat to global freedom in the modern era. Responsibility for this war lies with Russia alone – but responsibility to end it falls on us all. The Lend-Lease Act is an uncommon tool for uncommon times. The moment to act is now. We call for unanimous House passage without delay.”
