Congresswoman Kaptur joins in Dedication of Sonnenberg Complex at the 180th FW

Congresswoman Kaptur lead a moment of silence to honor LieutenantColonel Kevin Sonnenberg at official ribbon-cutting ceremonies for theSonnenberg Complex at the Air National Guard's Toledo Express Airportbase.Lt. Col. Kevin Sonnenberg from the 180th Fighter Wing was killed whenhis F-16 fighter plane crashed in Iraq in June.
Congresswoman Kaptur secured nearly $7 million from the Department ofDefense to construct the new facility which is home to the 180th FWLogistics Readiness Squadron and replaced a nearly 50 year oldstructure.
"We are so proud of Kevin for his ultimate sacrifice and of each of themembers of this unit -- so proud of the sacrifice they make everyday,"said Congresswoman Kaptur.
