January 14: Federal LIHEAP Funds Released to Ohio; How to Get Help

Image removed.The state of Ohio has received $54 million in federal LIHEAP funding to help low-income citizens pay the costs of heating and insulating their homes.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released $1.2 billion in LIHEAP funds now in order to ensure that states such as Ohio has the resources available to help needy families through the winter. LIHEAP helps more than six million low-income households in America deal with energy costs.
