Kaptur Addresses Executive Action To Secure American Borders, Calls For Partisan Extremists To Come To Table And Work Across Aisle

Washington, DC — Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) released the following statement, following Executive Action taken by President Biden to secure America's borders.
 
"This is a first step in the right direction, but we must do more to secure our borders. I am ready to work with both Republicans and Democrats to do what it takes to secure the border and stop the flow of drugs into the United States, " said Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09).
 
"America needs partisan extremists in Washington to come to the table and work across the aisle to stop the flow of illicit drugs like fentanyl and illegal activity from traversing our borders. The President’s actions are an interim step forward."
