Kaptur Congratulates TPD Detective Louie Espinosa for Hall of Fame Induction
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) released the following statement congratulating retired Toledo Police Department Detective Louie Espinosa on his induction into the National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame.
Today, eight law enforcement officers from across the country were inducted into the National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame – including retired Toledo Police Department Detective Louie Espinosa. Detective Espinosa retired from the Toledo Police Department in March 2022 after serving for more than 30 years.
“Toledo is immensely proud of one of its finest – Detective Louie Espinosa – for his induction into the National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame after more than 30 years of dedicated service to our community,” said Rep. Kaptur. “Every single day, the brave men and women of the Toledo Police Department put on the badge and answer the call when they are needed most. To serve and protect no matter the danger is the highest and noblest of callings. We are all eternally indebted to these heroes and their families for their uncompromising courage and sacrifice.”
