Kaptur Reminds Ohioans to Sign Up for Medicare, Healthcare Marketplace by Deadline
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) released the following video reminding Ohioans to sign up for Medicare and the Healthcare Marketplace during the Open Enrollment periods, which end this month.
For most people, the Medicare and Healthcare Marketplace Open Enrollment periods are the only opportunities each year to sign up for healthcare coverage, or make changes to existing plans. For healthcare coverage to be effective on January 1, 2022 – applications must be completed for Medicare by December 7, and for the Healthcare Marketplace by December 15.
