Washington, DC – On Thursday, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) voted to pass H.R.7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026, the final funding legislation funding for FY2026 which will now head to the Senate for final approval. The legislation passed the House by a bipartisan vote of 341-88, and now moves to the Senate for final consideration.

Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) voted to reject H.R. 7147, Appropriations legislation extending authorized spending levels for the Department of Homeland Security, citing reports of enforcement action violating law and order protocols based in basic Constitutional principles, and a serious lack of transparency around enforcement operating procedures.
