Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) and Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL) led a letter to the nation's nine federal student loan servicers urging them to apply emergency financial assistance measures announced by the Department of Education in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis to all of the loans they currently service. The letter was signed by 60 Members of Congress.
Toledo, OH – Today, on the 10th Anniversary of the landmark Affordable Care Act (ACA) being signed into law, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur, Chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, joined 126 of her Democratic colleagues in sending a letter to President Trump calling on him to end the lawsuit that seeks to end the ACA.

The funds were allocated through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP), which funds fair housing organizations and other nonprofits that assist individuals who believe that they have been victims of housing discrimination.
