Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Co-Chair of the House Great Lakes Task Force, along with Members of Congress from the Great Lakes region, offered formal comments to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' (USACE) Great Lakes and Mississippi River Interbasin Study (GLMRIS) Brandon Road report. Today is the final day for public comment on the draft Tentatively Selected Plan (TSP) of the USACE, which details options for how to prevent the Asian carp from reaching the Great Lakes.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) and 20 House Democrats today requested answers from Senior White House Advisor Stephen Miller about his knowledge of Russian meetings and contacts during the 2016 presidential campaign. Their inquiry came after a series of news reports revealed that Miller, then a senior aide on Donald Trump's presidential campaign, was alerted to Russian offers of assistance to that campaign by his subordinate George Papadopoulos, who later pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about Russian meetings and contacts.
