Ashley U.S. Courthouse in Toledo, Ohio. Kaptur, who serves as a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, was instrumental in including the $104 million needed for construction of the Toledo Courthouse Annex in the 2016 Omnibus Appropriations bill.

This bipartisan legislation extends the Community Health Centers Fund (CHCF) for five years, which supports Community Health Centers across the country and increases funds to ensure responsiveness to demand for care. The current funding expired on September 30, 2017.
