Washington, DC – Today, Members of the Ohio Congressional delegation led by Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03), and Dean of the Ohio Delegation Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) released the following statement condemning Neo-Nazi’s who marched in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend. This follows a similar incident of antisemitism carried out by a Neo-Nazi group in Sylvania and Toledo in July of 2023.

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee applauded the bipartisan passage of the Social Security Fairness Act of 2023 in the House of Representatives by an overwhelming vote of 327 to 75 on Tuesday, November 12. This legislation eliminates the harmful Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP), and the Government Pensions Offset (GPO), which reduces or eliminates earned Social Security benefits for public servants, including police officers, firefighters, educators and others.

Toledo, Ohio – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee announced that the US Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $1 Million to the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority and Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport in federal investment through its Small Community Air Service Development Program (SCASDP) for a revenue guarantee and associated marketing plan to recruit, initiate, and support new service to a large hub.
