Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) has introduced the Transform Student Debt to Home Equity Act of 2019, legislation that directs the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to establish a pilot program to connect creditworthy federal student debt holders with housing properties for sale but held by the federal government and landbanks.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) released the following statement announcing the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded two grants to the State of Ohio totaling $5,134,000 for renovations at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio.
