Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), released the following statement announcing that $541.41 million in emergency funding will be directed to Cleveland, Ohio as a result of the American Rescue Plan, a comprehensive COVID-19 response package unveiled by President Joe Biden his first day in office. Rep. Kaptur fought for months to secure direct federal aid to localities to strengthen their fight against COVID-19.

Cleveland, OH – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), released the following statement after Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced 15 long term, state-run mass vaccination sites across Ohio, in addition to an 8-week mass vaccination site that will be administered by Ohio Department of Health with support from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center in downtown Cleveland.
