Washington, D.C. – Today, Co-Chairs of the House Great Lakes Task Force Representatives Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), David Joyce (R-OH), Debbie Dingell (D-MI), and Bill Huizenga (R-MI) led a bipartisan letter to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee urging the Committee to include support for the Great Lakes in this year's Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) as it moves to conference the legislation with the Senate.

Toledo, OH — Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), released the following statement announcing that Toledo Public Schools (TPS) has been awarded $10,376,904 in federal funding over three years to improve pay structures, recruit and retain great teachers, and provide greater professional opportunities to educators. The funding was awarded through a competitive grant application through the Department of Education's Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) program, of which Kaptur wrote a letter of support.
