McKinley, P.E., (R-W.Va.) introduced bipartisan legislation aimed at ensuring the funds that states receive from opioid settlements are used to fight the epidemic and are focused towards treatment, prevention, education, and enforcement.

We are here to discuss the topic of climate change – a global issue that challenges our ability to sustain life on earth. Our job in Congress is to frame the magnitude of this challenge and provide a practical pathway forward that is regionally sensitive.

Washington, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, managed floor debate on a continuing resolution to extend federal government funding through December 20 and keep the government open after the current stopgap funding law expires this week. The legislation now heads to the Senate for consideration. The legislation passed 231-192.
