The U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday adopted a measure by Toledo Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur that encourages medical students to obtain their needed clinical observation hours at Veterans Administration hospitals.

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur welcomed action by the Lorain City Council to rezone 9.7 acres at Kolbe and West Erie in the City of Lorain to make way for a new U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) outpatient clinic. With a final announcement pending, construction is expected to commence in 2019.
