Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Dean of the Ohio Delegation and Co-Chair of the Auto Caucus, today sent a letter with four of her colleagues to President Donald Trump formally asking him to visit the communities impacted by General Motors' decision to idle several North America plants. The letter was signed by Rep. Debbie Dingell (MI-12), Rep. Tim Ryan (OH-13), Rep. Joyce Beatty (OH-03) and Rep.-Elect Andy Levin (MI-09).

Toledo, Ohio – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), today announced a $434,739 National Institutes of Health research grant for the University of Toledo. The award is the first part of a five-year grant distributed by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research that will go toward research to protect people against oral disease.

Toledo, Ohio – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), as co-chair of the Congressional Ukraine Caucus, today welcomed several members of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) to Northwest Ohio. The delegation was organized by the Open World Leadership Center in an effort to strengthen ties and exchange information between the United States and Ukraine.
