WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week in a letter to Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney, Members of Congress led by Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), urged the Trump Administration to fully fund the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP). The SFMNP program provides funding to help seniors get access to fresh, locally produced fruits and vegetables.

WASHINGTON, DC — Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) today joined a group of 90 Members of the House of Representatives in writing to President Trump, demanding that he fix the failed policies on trade with China. Throughout his campaign and his first months in office, President Trump pledged to the American people that he would correct our China trade policy and declared that this was essential to delivering on two other promises—to reduce our massive trade deficit and to ‘bring back' American manufacturing jobs.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representatives Derek Kilmer (D-WA), Dave Reichert (D-WA), Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), David Joyce (R-OH), and Bobby Scott (D-VA) led a bipartisan letter urging President Trump not to eliminate investments in iconic bodies of water. The letter, signed by 31 other members, warned that the President should reconsider his budget proposal that would completely eliminate the Environmental Protection Agency's Geographic Programs that provide cleanup funding for Puget Sound, the Great Lakes, Chesapeake Bay, and other major bodies of water.
