Oregon, OH — Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) was joined by University of Toledo President, Dr. Gregory Postel, and CEO of TESCO (Transportation Equipment Sales Corporation) Bud Graham for a news conference and ribbon cutting to unveil and roll-out a new mobile medical clinic in partnership with the University of Toledo Medical Center. The mobile medical unit was secured through $500,000 in federal funding secured by Congresswoman Kaptur in FY2022 Community Project Funding.

Thousands of retired truckers hit Capitol Hill on Thursday to ask Congress to rescind a law that might reduce their pensions by as much as 70 percent.
The participants in a troubled 400,000-member multi-employer pension fund called Teamsters' Central States Fund were there to protest a 2014 provision they say will impose financial hardships on retirees, such as bankruptcies, lost houses and the inability to buy medicines.
