Toledo, OH – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) announced a $19,108,645 award to construct close to one mile of the Glass City Riverwalk’s five-mile-long multi-use trail. The grant comes from the US Department of Transportation’s Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Program, which helps communities across the country carry out transportation projects with significant local or regional impact. RAISE Grant funding was expanded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law also known as the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act which became law in November 2021.
