Washington, DC – Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) released the following statement regarding her appointments on the House Appropriations Committee. Congresswoman Kaptur will serve as Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, will return to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense, and will rejoin the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies. 

Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, released the following statement regarding the announcement that the Ohio electric cooperative, based in Bryan is set to receive a $6 million loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to improve and expand their grid. 

Washington, DC – Today, Representatives Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Hank Johnson (GA-04), Ritchie Torres (NY-15), Earl Blumenauer (OR-03), and Eric Swalwell (CA-14) sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland raising concerns about potential violations of U.S. campaign laws, and the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), by New York Representative George Santos (NY-03).
