Washington, D.C. – Today, the Co-Chairs of the bipartisan Congressional Ukraine Caucus, Representatives Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Mike Quigley (D-IL), and Andy Harris (R-MD), released the following statement regarding Russia’s illegal recognition of the independence of Luhansk and Donetsk and imminent deployment of troops to Ukrainian territory.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) announced Ohio will receive $20,739,853 in federal funding this year for electric vehicle infrastructure from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Last year, Rep. Kaptur joined nearly every House Democrat to pass the Jobs and Infrastructure bill, while 94 percent of Republicans opposed it.

Kaptur joined nearly every House Democrat to pass the bill, while nearly every House Republican voted against it.
