Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), joined by Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Representatives David Joyce (R-OH) and Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), sent a letter to Department of the Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin urging the certification of the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency's (NOACA) request for direct federal funding from the Department of the Treasury through the Coronavirus Relief Fund.

Toledo, OH – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) and state Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) announced that $650 million in federal funding will be distributed to Ohio local governments, with more than $30 million going to communities and villages throughout Lucas County. The additional funding was amended on Tuesday into House Bill 614 in an effort to speed up passage in the Ohio House of Representatives.

Washington, D.C. — Today, Representatives Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11), Joyce Beatty (OH-03), and Tim Ryan (OH-13) sent a letter urging Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to reject Medicaid block grants for the state of Ohio. On January 30, 2020, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released a plan, entitled "Healthy Adult Opportunity," encouraging states to fund Medicaid through block grants.
