Washington, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), released the following statement after the House voted on an overwhelmingly bipartisan basis to override the President's veto of the National Defense Authorization Act:

"This overwhelming, bipartisan vote in the U.S. House to override the President's unwise veto of the 2021 Defense Bill upholds the oath every federal official is sworn to uphold: to protect and defend the American people," said Rep. Kaptur. "I urge the Senate to immediately follow suit."
