Oregon, OH — Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) was joined by University of Toledo President, Dr. Gregory Postel, and CEO of TESCO (Transportation Equipment Sales Corporation) Bud Graham for a news conference and ribbon cutting to unveil and roll-out a new mobile medical clinic in partnership with the University of Toledo Medical Center. The mobile medical unit was secured through $500,000 in federal funding secured by Congresswoman Kaptur in FY2022 Community Project Funding. The University contracted with TESCO, a third-generation, family-owned commercial bus distributor business in Oregon, to acquire and retrofit the mobile unit.

Toledo, OH – Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Co-Chair of the House Great Lakes Task Force announced two awards totaling $239,262 to Put-In-Bay Township Port Authority to enhance the ground circumstances at the Put-In-Bay Airport. This funding, part of the Fiscal Year 2024 Airport Improvement Grant (AIG), was awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Each year my office participates in the Congressional Art Competition. This event showcases high school artistic talent from the Ninth Congressional District. The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo (ACGT) continues its commitment as the long-term host agency for the competition.
